Data Retention During Beta: User data, transaction histories, and campaign records may be subject to modification, migration, or reset as we transition from beta to production.

Backup and Recovery: While we implement backup procedures, data recovery during beta testing cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances.

Information we collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Account Information
To join the waitlist and later activate your ClipStake account, you provide your name, email address, and a chosen username.
Wallet Information
Once approved, you connect one or more supported wallets (Privy, Phantom, or MetaMask). We record your wallet address(es) to facilitate blockchain payments.
1.2 Automatically Collected Data
Usage & Device Data: We collect basic device and usage details, including:
IP address
Browser type and version
Operating system
Pages visited and duration
Clickstream data (features accessed)
Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar tools to:
Keep you logged in
Remember preferences (e.g., language)
Track analytics via Google Analytics (or similar)

1.3 Information from Public Blockchain
On-Chain Transaction Data
All payments and payouts occur on public blockchains. Wallet addresses and transaction hashes are publicly visible. We store transaction details to display balances and histories.
How we use your information
2.1 Provide & Improve the Service
Enable account creation, login, and waitlist management.
Facilitate on-chain payments in USDC, SOL, and other supported SPL tokens.
Monitor and improve platform performance.
2.2 Security & Compliance
Verify wallet connections (Privy, Phantom, MetaMask).
Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access.
2.3 Communications
Send account-related emails (activation, password reset, wallet confirmations).
If you opt in, send updates about new features or promotions. You can unsubscribe anytime.
2.4 Legal Obligations
Comply with applicable laws and respond to valid legal requests.
Sharing of information
3.1 Service Providers
We share minimal data with third-party providers for: Email delivery, Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), and Identity verification vendors, if needed. All providers must follow our data security requirements.
3.2 Blockchain Transparency
Blockchain transactions are inherently public. ClipStake does not hide wallet addresses or transaction details.
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose data to comply with valid legal process, or to protect against fraud or other illegal activities.
3.4 Aggregate & De-identified Data
We may share aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics for research or marketing.
Data retention
4.1 Account Data
We keep your account and wallet information as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we may retain limited data to comply with legal obligations.
4.2 Transaction Records
We retain on-chain transaction records indefinitely so you can review payment history and for compliance purposes.
4.3 Analytics & Logs
We keep usage logs and analytics data for up to 24 months for performance and security monitoring.
4.4 Beta Testing Data
During beta testing, we may retain additional debugging and performance data for up to 12 months after the beta period ends to ensure platform stability.

Only authorized personnel can access production systems.
5.2 Monitoring & Auditing
We regularly scan for vulnerabilities and monitor for suspicious activity.
5.3 Incident Response
If a breach occurs, we will notify affected users and authorities as required.
