By accessing or using ClipStake, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
ClipStake is currently in beta testing phase. By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
No Guaranteed Payouts: While we strive to ensure all legitimate payouts are processed, we cannot guarantee payouts during the beta testing period. Technical issues, smart contract bugs, or platform changes may affect payout processing.
Platform Instability: The platform may experience downtime, data loss, or functionality issues as we test and improve our systems.
Feature Changes: Features, user interfaces, and platform mechanics may change significantly without prior notice during beta testing.
Limited Support: While we do our best to resolve issues promptly, support response times may be longer during beta testing.
Data Migration: User data, campaign history, and transaction records may be subject to migration or reset as we transition from beta to production.
Testing Environment: Some transactions may occur on test networks, and test tokens may be used alongside real tokens.
Our Commitment: We are committed to resolving any issues that arise during beta testing and will make our best efforts to ensure fair treatment of all users. However, participation in beta testing is at your own risk.
Eligibility & Account registration
1.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter a binding agreement.
1.2 Account & Waitlist
To join, you submit your name, email, and username. We place you on a waitlist.
Once approved, you activate your account by connecting a supported wallet (Privy, Phantom, or MetaMask).
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and wallet private keys. Notify support@clipstake.com immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Usage of the Service
2.1 Blockchain Payments Only
All transactions occur on-chain in USDC or other supported tokens. No fiat payments are accepted.
Transactions are initiated from your connected wallet; Clipstake does not hold your private keys.
2.2 Fees
We may charge a platform fee (e.g., a percentage of each payout). Any fees are displayed before you confirm a transaction.
Sponsored Transaction Fees: ClipStake sponsors all blockchain transaction fees (gas fees) for users. You will not be charged any transaction fees for platform operations.
2.3 Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
Use the Service for illegal activities (e.g., money laundering, fraud).
Interfere with the platform's functionality (e.g., deploying malware, scraping data).
Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or wallets.
Use bots or automation to manipulate rewards or bypass limits.
Post or distribute infringing, defamatory, obscene, or harassing content.
2.4 User Content
You own any content you post (e.g., videos, images, text). By posting, you grant ClipStake a worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute it on the platform.
Clipstake may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws at its discretion.
Intellectual property
3.1 License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ClipStake for your personal or business purposes, subject to these Terms.
3.2 Trademarks & Branding
All trademarks, logos, and trade names on the platform are owned by Clipstake or its licensors. You may not use them without permission.
Payments & Withdrawals
4.1 Token Rewards
Creators earn token rewards based on engagement and campaign performance.
4.2 Withdrawal Processing
Withdrawals are processed on-chain when requested, with ClipStake sponsoring all transaction fees. During beta testing, withdrawal processing may be delayed.
4.3 Payment Methods
Clipstake does not accept or process fiat currency. Since payments are on-chain, chargebacks do not apply.
Disclaimer & Risks
5.1 Service Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." CLIPSTAKE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES.
5.1 Blockchain Risks
You acknowledge blockchain risks including smart contract vulnerabilities, network issues, beta testing instabilities, and potential data loss.
5.3 Liability Limitation
CLIPSTAKE'S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE SUM OF PLATFORM FEES YOU PAID IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE YOUR CLAIM.
Suspension & Termination
6.1 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time.
6.2 Platform Termination
Clipstake may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations, fraudulent behavior, or failure to complete KYC verification.
6.3 Outstanding Balances
Upon termination, you lose access to the Service. Outstanding token balances will be paid out provided you meet verification requirements.
Governing Law
7.1 Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the USA.
7.2 Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, you agree to attempt informal resolution within 30 days. Unresolved disputes will be referred to binding arbitration in the USA, conducted in English.
7.3 Outstanding Balances
Upon termination, you lose access to the Service. Outstanding token balances will be paid out provided you meet verification requirements.
Changes to Terms
8.1 Updates
We may update these Terms occasionally.
8.2 Notification
For material changes affecting your rights, we will notify you via email at least 14 days before changes take effect.
8.3 Acceptance
Continued use after changes means you accept them.
Third-party links & services
9.1 External Links
The Service may link to external sites. We do not control or endorse their content or practices.
9.2 Third-Party Services
Your interactions with any third-party services (e.g., wallet providers) are subject to those services' own terms and privacy policies. ClipStake is not responsible for their actions.
